How to Find Your Ring Size

Before you measure
Fingers change size during the day. Measure at the end of the day, at room temperature, and never when your hands are very cold — you can drop half a size without noticing.
If the ring is a surprise gift, borrow a ring the person already wears on that finger and use method 1.
Method 1 — a ring that already fits
Place the ring on a ruler and measure its inner diameter in millimeters, edge to edge. Compare with the chart below.
Method 2 — a strip of paper
Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps and measure the length in millimeters: that is the circumference. Compare with the chart.

Between two sizes?
Choose the larger one, especially for wider bands: they fit more snugly than slim rings.
